SolarEdge CEO - Zvi Lando

SolarEdge is a global leader in renewable energy solutions. Our mission is to develop and scale renewable energy technologies that improve the way we generate, manage, store, and use electrical power in every aspect of our lives. With energy demand continuing to increase globally, our innovative solutions play an important role in the decarbonization of the global power supply and in smarter and more efficient electricity usage. To date, over 3.7 million homes are equipped with SolarEdge PV systems, and over 50% of Fortune 100 companies have SolarEdge technology on their rooftops. The clean power produced by these systems helps to annually avoid over 41 million metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions—equivalent to removing 9.6 million gasoline-powered cars from the road permanently.

However, our journey has been met with significant challenges in the past year. Global demand for solar power installation has slowed due to changes in regulation, electricity prices, and excess inventory accumulated by our customers. This required us to realign our manufacturing capacity, increase operational efficiency, and take cost-cutting measures. Among these were the restructuring of our workforce to better align the company with current market conditions. We have taken various steps to assist the employees who were affected, as further detailed in the employment section of this report.

Despite these challenges, we remain committed to our vision of creating a world powered by clean, sustainable energy. We are determined to enhance our leading role in the low-carbon transition, thanks to our innovative technology, talented employees, loyal distribution partners, and over 70,000 installer partners. To achieve this, we are prioritizing advancements in energy management software and expanding our residential, commercial and small-scale utility product lines to ensure that we remain at the forefront of smart energy solutions.

We continue to ramp up our manufacturing in the United States and are proud to be contributing to the renaissance of the country’s high-tech manufacturing base. Through the production of our inverters, optimizers, and batteries in multiple U.S. locations, we have created approximately 2,000 jobs and are able to provide a reliable source of American-manufactured products for our customers.

In parallel, we continue to strengthen our sustainable and responsible practices. Our sites around the world implement energy and resource-saving techniques, and we are generating clean power from our own rooftop PV systems in several regions where we operate. In addition, 83% of the waste generated by our sites was either recycled or recovered for energy. We have recently finalized the environmental impact life-cycle analysis of several of our key products, allowing us to better identify key opportunities for improvement.

Our responsible practices are receiving consistent external recognition from several stakeholders. For the second straight year, SolarEdge was included in the 2025 Corporate Knights list of the top 100 sustainable corporations in the world. EcoVadis awarded us a ‘Silver medal’, placing us in the top 15% of over 130,000 globally rated companies.

Our Sustainability Report outlines how SolarEdge is helping to shape the future of energy through our products, workforce, and business operations. In collaboration with you, our stakeholders, we are striving to create a cleaner, more connected future for both present and future generations.

Thank you for your continued support.
